John Berry

John's interest in finances and investing started with his Mom. While he was growing up in Plainview, Texas, John's Mom worked at a local investment office. He wanted to be one of those advisors.

John is glad that the financial services industry continues to move away from a sales and product focus to a focus on client goals. He views investments as tools in a financial arsenal that should include skills, habits, and education.

John and his wife, Melanie Berry, live on the Berry Homestead in rural Jack County and have two adult children and one grandson.  They are a multi-Jeep family and enjoy all things involving wide-open spaces.
